Our mission

Our mission is to build a platform that covers every side of the business we know best, and to create relationships grounded in trust, discipline, and execution.

We came to this business from the brokerage and development side. For years we brokered shopping centers for institutional owners and found, entitled, and delivered sites for national retail and fuel operators, all before we bought anything for ourselves. That is still how we underwrite: a location has to work for the people who will occupy it, or it will not work for us.

We buy what we would be willing to hold indefinitely. We keep the structures simple, we put our own capital in alongside our partners’, and we would rather pass on a deal than talk ourselves into one.

Fortierra Holdings

We buy and hold multi-tenant retail and small-bay industrial properties with durable, in-place cash flow. Income comes from several tenants rather than one, so a single vacancy does not put the asset at risk.
